Celebrating the stories, grit, and beauty of Nevada’s OHV community.
Purpose
The Nevada Offroad Film Festival is more than just a night of thrilling trail clips and breathtaking desert views. It’s a community fundraiser dedicated to supporting NVORA’s mission to protect, preserve, and promote responsible OHV access across Nevada. Join us for a night of connection, competition, and celebration.
This festival is a unique celebration of offroad adventure, community, and the breathtaking terrain that defines our state. This grassroots event features a curated collection of user-submitted film content that captures Nevada’s diverse, rugged, and often remote landscapes, all seen through the lens of our offroad community.
From family rides across high desert plateaus to high-octane race footage and stunning scenic views, this festival invites enthusiasts of all experience levels to share their stories and experiences. Whether you ride side-by-side, ATV, dirt bike, or Jeep, your voice belongs here.
How it Works:
- Submit your video or photo content of Nevada in one of our designated categories (see below).
- All submissions must follow our official guidelines for format, length, and content.
- A panel will select the top three entries in each category, which will be showcased at the live event.
- Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite clip in each category, making this a truly community-powered experience.
Whether you’re a hobbyist filmmaker, a GoPro trail junkie, or just someone who caught the perfect sunset on the ridgeline, this is your chance to share your content and help protect the very trails we all love.

- Location: Schussboom Brewery, Reno
- Audience: All are welcome – this is a family friendly event
- Admission: Tickets will be available and price TBA

Submission Guidelines:
- Video Format: MP4 | 1–5 minutes max | Max 500MB
- Photo Format: JPG or PNG | High-Resolution preferred | Max 20MB
- Maximum number of entries: 1 entry per category
- Categories:
- Best Scenery
- Most Extreme
- Family Fun
- Most Miles Covered
- Best Racing Clip
- Best Photo (Featured in next year’s promo!)
Winners will be honored at the event during the Awards Ceremony with cash prizes.
How-to Upload Your Videos
You’re welcome to upload your video to your preferred video hosting platform and share the link in your entry form. If you don’t already use a hosting service, we’ve included simple instructions for uploading to YouTube.
Here are the How-to directions to upload a YouTube video
- Log into your YouTube account (or create one for free at youtube.com).
- Click the Create (+) button in the top-right corner and choose “Upload video”
- When prompted to choose your video’s visibility, select “Unlisted.”
- This keeps it hidden from the public, but anyone with the link (NVORA) can view it.
- Do not select “Private” or “Public”
- Copy the video link and paste it into the submission form.

Event Submission Rules & Guidelines
Eligibility & Requirements
- Submissions must be original and created by the person submitting or their direct representative.
- Participants must have full rights and permission to use all content, including footage, music, and imagery.
- Video Format: MP4 | 1–5 minutes max | Max 500MB
- Photo Format: JPG or PNG | High-Resolution preferred | Max 20MB
- Submissions must fall within one of the listed categories.
- Submissions must be of locations in Nevada.
- Contestants are allowed 1 entry per category.
Prohibited Content
- No illegal activity, dangerous stunts, or violations of the Nevada NRS Statutes pertaining to all offroad and subsequent activities.
- No copyrighted music or footage without express permission.
- No disrespectful, defamatory, or unsafe behavior on public lands.
Usage Rights
By submitting your content, you agree to the following:
- You grant the Nevada Offroad Association (NVORA) a non-exclusive, limited-use license to screen your submission publicly at the Nevada Offroad Film Festival and in related promotions.
- NVORA may use submitted photos and short clips for marketing, social media, or future event promotions, with proper credit where applicable.
- You retain full ownership of your original content.
- NVORA will not sell your content or use it outside of festival-related promotion without your written consent.
Acknowledgement
All participants will be required to:
- Acknowledge NVORA as an authorized exhibitor of your submission
