Cancel An Event

This page allows administrators to cancel events submitted to the Community Event Calendar. Only events that have been submitted and published through the plugin can be canceled here.

How it works:
• The admin enters the Event ID for the event they want to cancel.
• Once submitted, the event is marked as canceled and is removed from the public calendar and listings.

Important Notes:
• Always double check the Event ID before submitting the cancellation to avoid accidental removal of the wrong event.
• Canceling an event does not delete it; it only hides it from the public view.

If an event is canceled by mistake:
• Go to the Events list in Dashboard
• Locate the canceled event by its Event ID or title.
• Change “Cancel This Event” to “No”
• Save/update the event; it will appear again on the calendar and in lists.
